Midnight Gospel–inspired Title Sequence
A reimagined title sequence for The Midnight Gospel that blends surreal visuals, fluid motion, and psychedelic color to echo the show's introspective, reality-bending tone.
Overview
This project explores the creation of an original title sequence inspired by The Midnight Gospel, focusing on translating the show's philosophical, dream-logic storytelling into motion design. The sequence incorporates layered textures, shifting cosmic environments, and nonlinear visual transitions to reflect the series' themes of consciousness, exploration, and emotional depth. Typography, pacing, and color are all intentionally composed to mirror the show's meditative yet chaotic energy, resulting in a cohesive visual introduction that feels both stylistically faithful and creatively reinterpreted.

"Borderline" Kinetic Type
A kinetic typography video interpreting Tame Impala's "Borderline" through rhythm-driven motion, expressive type, and atmospheric visual pacing.
Overview
This project is a motion design study that translates the emotional tone and rhythmic structure of Tame Impala's "Borderline" into expressive kinetic typography. The video explores how type can behave like a visual instrument—syncing movement, scale, and color with the song's shifting energy. Using Adobe After Effects, I focused on fluid transitions, layered motion, and a bold, high contrast palette to reflect the track's psychedelic pop aesthetic. The result is a piece that demonstrates timing, hierarchy, and motion principles while showcasing how typography can evoke mood, texture, and musicality without relying on only imagery.
